  • Providence Equity and Goldman Sachs in the purchase of Education Management Corporation (EDMC) and the underwriters in EDMC’s IPO
  • Sesame Workshop on various transactions
  • A group of underwriters led by Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Barclays, on the $222 million IPO by childcare provider Bright Horizons
  • Princeton University in defense of a closely watched billion-dollar lawsuit involving charitable gifts to higher education
  • Wireless Generation, a maker of educational software, in its sale to News Corporation
