Samuel Rudik

A Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice, Sam Rudik regularly represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, public-to-private transactions and financings. 

Sam’s representative transactions include:

• Blackstone in connection with:
  • $12.8 billion acquisition of American Campus Communities
  • $10 billion acquisition of QTS Data Centers
  • $7 billion joint venture with Digital Realty to develop hyperscale data centers
  • $5.9 billion acquisition of Colony Capital’s industrial platform
  • $4.6 billion acquisition of the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in a joint venture with MGM Growth Properties, and subsequent sale of Blackstone’s interest to VICI Properties
  • $3.9 billion acquisition of the Aria Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa
  • $950 million investment by Realty Income to acquire common and preferred interests in The Bellagio Las Vegas from Blackstone
  • $278 million joint venture with COPT to acquire five single tenant data centers
• QTS Data Centers in connection with a $1.28 billion project finance term loan facility to design and construct a new state-of-the-art data center campus
• KKR in connection with its joint venture with Dalan Management to acquire a large multifamily portfolio in Brooklyn

Sam received his J.D., with honors, in 2016 from the University of Chicago Law School. He received his B.A. in Economics in 2012 from the University of Florida.
