Concentrating on securities law and corporate governance, Edgar Lewandowski is a Partner in our Capital Markets Practice. He has wide-ranging experience advising a variety of issuers, investment banks and private equity sponsors. The transactions he has handled include IPOs, high yield and investment-grade debt offerings, convertible bond offerings and tender and exchange offers. Edgar also advises boards of directors on general corporate and compliance matters. He has represented clients in numerous industries, including real estate, hospitality, construction materials, information technology, manufacturing, retail, energy, insurance, mining and shipping.  Edgar’s representations include Hilton Worldwide in its $2.7 billion IPO, the largest in history by a hospitality company and the second largest U.S. IPO of 2013.

Edgar J. Lewandowski is a Partner in Simpson Thacher’s Corporate Department, where he is a member of the Capital Markets and Securities Practice. His areas of concentration are securities law, corporate governance and general corporate matters, including public company reporting. Edgar has wide-ranging experience representing a variety of issuers, investment banks and private equity sponsors in a broad range of transactions, including IPOs and other equity offerings, high yield and investment-grade debt offerings, convertible bond offerings and tender and exchange offers. He also advises boards of directors on general corporate and compliance matters. Edgar has represented clients in numerous industries, including real estate, hospitality, construction materials, information technology, manufacturing, retail, energy, insurance, mining and shipping.
