Sinead O'Shea is a Partner in the Firm's London office concentrating on debt finance matters.  Sinead has experience in a range of cross-border senior and subordinated financings, with an emphasis on leveraged acquisition finance and real estate finance. She has represented such firms and companies as Blackstone, KKR, JPMorgan Chase, China National Agrochemical, MMI Holdings, First Reserve, Silver Lake Partners, Bain Capital, Apax, Permira and Providence. Sinead practices both New York and English law and has also worked in the Firm's New York and Hong Kong offices.

Sinead joined Simpson Thacher in 2000. She is currently based in the Firm’s London office and has also worked in the Firm’s New York and Hong Kong offices. She received an LL.M. in 1996 and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1994 from University College Cork, Ireland, and a Barrister-at-law degree in 1998 from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, Ireland. She is admitted to the New York bar and the Law Society of England and Wales and practices both New York and English law.
