Simpson Thacher Represents CVC Capital Partners in Connection with the Announced Acquisition of Advantage Sales & Marketing by CVC and Leonard Green & Partners
The Firm is representing CVC Capital Partners (“CVC”) in connection with the announced acquisition of a majority interest in Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (“ASM”) by CVC and Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. (“LGP”) from funds advised by Apax Partners (“Apax”). The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, and is expected to close during the third quarter of 2014.
ASM is North America’s leading provider of outsourced sales and marketing services to manufacturers of consumer goods and retailers across multiple channels.
