Simpson Thacher Adds Banking and Credit Partner in Boston

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP today announced that Elizabeth (“Liz”) Kates has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Banking and Credit Practice in Boston.

Liz advises private equity sponsors as well as private and public companies and lenders. Her practice focuses on structuring and negotiating secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings and restructurings. She advises clients across a range of industries, including the technology, software, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing sectors. She joins from Goodwin Procter LLP.
