Simpson Thacher is representing Molymet Alloys, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Molibdenos y Metales, S.A. ("Molymet"), in connection with its agreement to acquire Rhenium Alloys, Inc. (“Rhenium Alloys”), an Ohio corporation that manufactures refractory metals and high temperature products. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals.
Molymet is a Chilean company leader in the processing of molybdenum and rhenium for use in various industries, such as the steel, chemical, aerospace, and energy industries.
