Proprium Enhances European Real Estate Capabilities with BC Partners Real Estate Team
Simpson Thacher is representing BC Partners (“BC”) in connection with the strategic partnership between BC Real Estate (“BCPRE”) and Proprium Capital Partners (“Proprium”), which is owned by Legal & General, in which Proprium will acquire a team from BCPRE to further the expansion of its European footprint. Under the terms of the agreement, 17 highly experienced individuals will join Proprium from BCPRE. The transaction will add approximately $1 billion to Proprium’s assets under management. Consummation of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
