Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP today announced that John Anselmi has joined the Firm’s Banking and Credit Practice as a Partner in New York, where he will focus on energy and infrastructure matters.

John advises sponsors, borrowers and lenders on a broad range of project and infrastructure financing transactions, including bank financings, private placements, bonds and private credit transactions. He has extensive experience advising clients at all stages of project development and financing, including joint venture and structuring arrangements, multi-source financings involving export credit agencies and multilateral lending agencies and expansions.

John represents clients across a variety of industry sectors such as oil and gas, LNG, digital infrastructure (including data centers), logistics and infrastructure, mining and renewables. He has advised clients on projects in the United States, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
