Vanessa Burrows Speaks at 43rd National HIPAA Summit
Healthcare Partner Vanessa Burrows participated in the 43rd National HIPAA Summit on a panel titled, “Will HIPAA Compliance Issues Stop Your Deal? Assessing HIPAA Risks in M&A” on April 9th. The panel explored how non-compliance with HIPAA requirements and new laws and regulations on health data impact mergers and acquisitions. The panel also examined how potential compliance risks can affect the transaction process and post-closing remediation considerations.
