Ari Zak and Ryan Brizek to Speak on Private Markets Evergreen Fund Structures at American Bar Association Tax Meeting
Tax Partner Ari Zak and Registered Funds Partner Ryan Brizek will speak at American Bar Association (ABA)’s 2026 May Tax Meeting on May 8 in Washington, D.C. Their panel, titled “Registered Funds and Other Retail Focused Vehicles - Current Tax Trends,” will examine the current state of registered funds industry, followed by a deeper dive into recent tax developments and current tax topics. On the panel they will discuss new fund types in the retail evergreen fund space used to access private markets investments, including regulated investment companies, REITs and funds taxed as partnerships that are registered under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
