Jeannine McSweeney Recognized at Women in Business Law Americas Awards
Jeannine McSweeney was named “North America Corporate Governance Lawyer of the Year” at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026. Jeannine was recognized for advising on some of the most noteworthy deals of 2025, including Silver Lake Partners’ $25 billion enterprise value acquisition of Endeavor Group Holdings, Stone Point Capital’s majority investment with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in OneDigital—valuing OneDigital in excess of $7 billion, El Puerto de Liverpool and the Nordstrom Family’s $6.25 billion take-private, and BTG Pactual’s acquisition of M.Y. Safra Bank. Jeannine’s thought leadership in her field and her support of the next generation of women leaders at Simpson Thacher and in the legal profession also contributed to her selection.
Additionally, Simpson Thacher was named a finalist for the “International Firm: Latin America Practice of the Year” award.
