Simpson Thacher is representing Oakley Capital in connection with its investment in Skilled Education Group (SEG) and SEG’s acquisition of Sigmund Freud University (SFU), Austria’s largest private university.
This strategic acquisition represents SEG’s first institution and the official launch of its global group. SFU has a pioneering reputation in medicine, psychology, psychotherapy science, dentistry and law, complemented by its multi-campus presence across Europe (Vienna, Berlin, Milan, Paris, Ljubljana). It offers university courses to more than 6,000 students.
