Adam Aderton and JJ Dikmak Present at MFDF’s Board Oversight of Alternative Investments Program
Adam Aderton, a Partner in the Firm’s Asset Management Regulatory and Enforcement Practice and JJ Dikmak, an associate in the Firm’s Registered Funds Practice, were panelists in a Mutual Fund Directors Forum (“MFDF”) webinar titled, “Follow the Yellow-Brick Road: Charting a Course in the Valuation of Alternative Assets” on July 7. The second installment as part of MFDF’s Board Oversight of Alternative Investments series, this session focused on the specifics around harder-to-value assets, how boards should evaluate valuation policies and procedures and potential areas for inquiry around concentration and diversification requirements.
Moderated by Jody Foster, independent trustee and MFDF Board Member, the series outlined key considerations for independent fund directors related to valuation, concentration, and diversification issues for registered funds holding alternative assets. For more information on the webinar, click here.
