Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP today announced that derivatives lawyer, Netanya Clixby, has joined the Firm’s European Finance and Capital Markets group as Partner in its London office.

Netanya advises on the structuring and negotiation of derivatives and other trading documentation, including securities lending and prime brokerage documents and provides related regulatory advice. She also advises on structured products, including repurchase agreements and significant risk transfer transactions (SRTs). She advises clients across a range of asset classes and has experience advising on U.K., European and U.S.-related matters, with a particular focus on finance-linked hedging and risk management solutions for private credit and sponsor clients. Netanya joins from Sidley Austin LLP.
In recent years Simpson Thacher has built out its suite of finance and capital markets capabilities. Last year the Firm welcomed securitization and structured products Partner Rick Hanson, and leveraged finance Partners Dan Peach, Bryan Robson and Will Gwyn, following the addition of Hadrien Servais in 2024 to lead the European Private Credit team and fund finance Partner Katie McMenamin as it broadened its borrower and lender fund finance capabilities.
