Eli Hunt and Gabe Silva Quoted in The American Lawyer on Data Center Market
Eli Hunt, Co-Head of the Firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Practice, and Energy and Infrastructure Partner Gabe Silva were quoted in an article in The American Lawyer titled, “Data Center Deals Continue Benefiting Big Law Client Relationships,” which detailed the competition and strategic approach surrounding data center deals. The article highlighted Simpson Thacher’s prominence in the space and noted that the Firm was ranked first in data center transactions in both deal count and value last year, according to Infralogic. Eli explained, “We want to help our clients. We go where our clients go,” noting that “it’s cool work.” Gabe further said that while “There’s a lot of competition in the market…We very much take pride in succeeding.” He also noted that the team is “trying to get in on deals that are just very innovative.”
