Simpson Thacher represented the lenders in connection with the Five Arrows investment in Swedish animal health company Vetz Petz to accelerate international growth, diversify its product range, and pursue strategic acquisitions. The transaction closed on September 14, 2026.
Vetz Petz is a leading distributor of the Antinol animal health supplement brand, a nutraceutical designed to manage joint and mobility care in pets. Founded in 2011, Vetz Petz operates primarily in Japan, Australia, and Thailand, with its global headquarters in Sweden.
Five Arrows is the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co. Its corporate private equity business invests in healthcare, data and software and technology-enabled business services companies in Europe and North America through a series of funds focused on the lower mid-market, mid-market and upper mid-market, managing more than €13 billion of capital.
