Rajib Chanda Quoted in WSJ and Ignites on the SEC’s Private Market Rule Proposals
Rajib Chanda, Global Head of Asset Management, was quoted in articles by the Wall Street Journal and Ignites, which discussed the SEC’s vote to propose a series of rules to expand retail investor access to private markets. In discussing with the Wall Street Journal how the proposed rules are a welcome starting place but that regulators can take further steps, Rajib noted, “We’re still on a long journey to true, democratized access to private markets.” In speaking to Ignites about the specific proposed changes to the interval funds rule, he observed that the changes to the interval and tender offer funds rules are “largely evolutionary rather than transformative.”
