10.16.26

Lynn Neuner, Global Co-Chair of the Firm's Litigation Department, was a featured speaker at Practising Law Institute's (PLI) Trial by Jury 2026 program, held on October 15 at PLI’s office in New York. Lynn spoke on the panel "Choosing the Best Possible Jury," which examined techniques for selecting an effective jury, including identifying jurors likely to sympathize with a client's case, asking informative questions during voir dire, avoiding impermissible topics, exercising challenges wisely and establishing rapport and credibility with prospective jurors.

PLI's Trial by Jury 2026 program brought together experienced state and federal judges and distinguished litigators to share their perspectives on jury trial practice, addressing topics including jury selection, opening statements, direct examination, cross-examination, closing arguments and the ethical issues that commonly arise in jury trials.
