Jin Ahn - Knowledge Management Lawyer Jin Ahn is the Knowledge Management Lawyer for the Registered Funds Practice at Simpson Thacher. She joined the Firm in 2024.

Jin received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.

Katelyn B. Benton - Director of Administration

Katelyn Benton is the Director of Administration in the Washington, D.C. office of Simpson Thacher. Katelyn rejoined the Firm in 2025 and previously served as Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. She began her legal career as an Associate at Simpson Thacher.

Katelyn received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, magna cum laude, in 2012. She received her B.A. from James Madison University in 2008.

Andrea Caputo - Compliance Attorney Andrea Caputo is a Compliance Attorney with the Conflicts and Legal Ethics Group at Simpson Thacher, managing the Firm’s legal confirmation protocols in support of clients’ financial auditing activities.   

Andrea received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University School of Law and her M.S.N. and B.S.N. from the University of Pennsylvania. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia. 

Hillary C. Mintz - Chief Legal Talent Officer

Hillary Mintz is the Chief Legal Talent Officer at Simpson Thacher. Hillary has been with the Firm since 2000, first as an Associate then Counsel in the Litigation Department and later as Director of Administration of the Washington, D.C. office.

Hillary received her J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from University of Maryland College Park.
