James has broad experience across a range of transactions, including acquisition financings, syndicated bank loans, debt restructurings and other commercial lending matters in a variety of industries. James Doyle is Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. James regularly represents lenders and borrowers in banking and credit transactions including the structuring, negotiating and documenting finance transactions. He also has experience with acquisition financings, syndicated bank loans, debt restructurings and other commercial lending matters in a variety of industries.

James’ experience has included the representation of:

James received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2008 and his B.S.E., magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 2002. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York. James is also a board member at Excel Automotive Institute in Washington, D.C.
