Sherry Shen

Sherry Shen is a Partner in Simpson Thacher’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, where she focuses her practice on public and private mergers and acquisitions, investments, dispositions, joint ventures and other complex and high-profile corporate transactions. She regularly counsels private equity sponsors and strategic clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions with numerous representations in the technology, healthcare and infrastructure sectors. Sherry’s financial sponsor clients have included, among others, Blackstone, EQT, Hellman & Friedman, Silver Lake, Technology Crossover Ventures, True Wind Capital, Warburg Pincus and their respective portfolio companies.

• EQT in a wide range of transactions, including in its acquisitions of Parexel for $8.5 billion, Radius Global Infrastructure, Cast & Crew and Clinical Innovations; its sales of Acumatica and Clinical Innovations; its partial sales of significant stakes in EdgeConneX and ReWorld and other acquisitions by its portfolio companies
• Hellman & Friedman in multiple transactions, including its $1.15 billion acquisition of Checkmarx; NPD Group’s merger with Information Services and subsequent acquisitions of NCSolutions and Nielsen’s Marketing Mix Modeling business; Applied Systems in its acquisitions of EZLynx and Indio Technologies and its partial sale to CapitalG; Sedgwick’s acquisition of Cunningham Lindsey and multiple partial sales of significant stakes in Hub International
