Daniel Venditti is Counsel in the Corporate Department at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He focuses on labor and employment aspects of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and financing transactions. Daniel also provides counseling in connection with labor and employment issues that arise under federal and state laws, including those that relate to employment practices and policies, wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination, employment agreements and reductions in force. In 2013 and 2014, the American Society of Legal Advocates named Daniel to its “Top 40 Under 40” list of Labor and Employment lawyers in New York. Daniel has also taught employment law as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University School of Law.
Daniel received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a Managing Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. He received his B.A. from Binghamton University, State University of New York. Daniel clerked for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, from 2005 to 2007. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
