Meredith Jones is Senior Counsel in the London office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where she is a member of the Firm's Tax Department. Meredith advises the Firm’s London office clients on the federal income tax aspects of a broad range of transactions, including corporate mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, real estate and infrastructure transactions, private fund formation and cross-border tax matters generally. Meredith joined the Firm’s New York office in 1997, and moved to the London office in May of 2001. Meredith received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College in 1992 and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1997.
