Jennifer Levitt is Counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP where she is a member of the Banking and Credit Practice Group. She focuses on domestic and international bank finance transactions, with an emphasis on leveraged acquisition finance and recapitalization transactions, primarily advising equity sponsors and corporate borrowers. She also has considerable experience representing sponsors of private equity and real estate funds in connection with secured subscription credit facilities.
Ms. Levitt received her J.D., cum laude, in 2001 from Harvard Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1997 from Duke University. She joined the Firm in 2002 following a clerkship with the Honorable J. Spencer Letts in the U.S. District Court. Ms. Levitt is admitted to practice in California and New York.
