Jeffrey E. Ostrow is a Partner in the Firm's Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments.  He is the head of the Firm’s West Coast IP Transactional practice.

Mr. Ostrow's practice is focused on servicing the intellectual property needs of companies both in and outside Silicon Valley, including advising clients on complex licensing issues and all intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisition as well as capital markets transactions.  In addition, Mr. Ostrow services the intellectual property litigation needs of these companies.  Representations have included Intel, Cisco Systems, Inc., Google, Agilent, 3Com, Seagate, VMWare, CSR/SiRF Technologies, Honeywell, NEC, Accenture, Texas Pacific Group, Silver Lake Partners, Hellman & Friedman, Elevation Partners, Clorox, and UMC Corp.

Mr. Ostrow was named one of California’s Top 100 Leading Lawyers by the Daily Journal in 2009. 

He was elected to membership in the Firm in 2000.  He received his A.B. from the University of Chicago in 1987 and his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1990.
