Mr. Park is a Partner in the corporate practice group at
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and is currently based in the Firm’s Hong Kong
Office. Mr. Park has a broad range of experience in merger and
acquisitions, including buyouts and minority investments and capital markets
transactions, including initial public offerings and Rule 144A/Regulation S
offerings for companies engaged in manufacturing, banking, insurance, telecom,
power and energy. Mr. Park started in our New York office and joined the
Hong Kong office after having spent several years in our Tokyo office building
up our Asian practice.
He has represented Goldman
Sachs private equity and other private equity clients in various acquisitions in
China and Korea and representing Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P.Morgan,
Citigroup, UBS, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and other investment banking
clients and blue chip companies in Asia in SEC registered and non registered
offerings of equity and debt securities.
Mr. Park graduated from Harvard
University in 1987 and University of Chicago Law School in 1990.
