Lesley Peng is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Ms. Peng’s practice focuses on corporate finance and general corporate matters, and she has represented both issuers and underwriters in high yield financings, initial public offerings, convertible debt and preferred offerings and other public and private corporate finance transactions. Transactions she has worked on include the initial public offering of The Blackstone Group, various offerings by JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a convertible debt offering by RadioShack Corporation. Ms. Peng has also represented major investment banking firms, including Citigroup, Goldman, Sachs, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank, in a variety of transactions for such issuers as Nordic American Tanker, Owens Corning and Smithfield Foods.
Ms. Peng joined Simpson Thacher in 1999. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, magna cum laude, in 1996 and her J.D. from Harvard University in 1999. She is admitted to practice in New York.
