The Women's Committee, in conjunction with the Diversity Committee, works to retain, develop, mentor and promote talented female attorneys at all levels of seniority. The entering class of 2012 is 43% women and over the last five years, 45% of our incoming associates have been women. These committees are working with practice group leaders, clients, senior and junior associates, to develop programs and policies to ensure that women have equal access to high-profile assignments, senior mentoring relationships, public speaking and client development opportunities, and ultimately, promotion to partnership.
The Firm is a member of Catalyst, the leading U.S. research and advisory organization working with businesses and professions to build inclusive environments and expand opportunities for women in the workplace. The Senior Director of Advisory Services at Catalyst serves as the Firm's liaison and as a resource for the Women's Initiative.
