James T. Knight is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Mr. Knight’s practice focuses on banking matters and the representation of lenders and borrowers in acquisitions and other leveraged transactions. His clients have included J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. and The Blackstone Group and its portfolio companies.

Mr. Knight joined the Firm in 1979 and became a partner in 1986. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1976 where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1979. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
