Our Beijing office works closely with our Hong Kong office to expand the breadth of our Firm's China practice and transactional capabilities. The Firm's China practice focuses on international capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and representation of private equity clients, both in buyouts and fund formation. We are also engaged in acquisition finance and lending, other corporate and commercial transactions and provide counsel to our U.S. offices in the representation of Asian clients in U.S. litigation matters. Working in tandem with our teams in Hong Kong and Tokyo and with our offices in the Americas and Europe, we provide truly global capability for both local and international clients.
Through our Beijing and Hong Kong offices, we offer one of the largest on-the-ground teams among all U.S. firms with approximately sixty lawyers providing United States and Hong Kong legal expertise, half of whom are bilingual speakers of English and Mandarin Chinese. Our lawyers in Beijing have considerable transaction experience in China.
