Simpson Thacher Wins “M&A Deal of the Year” at ALB China Law Awards 2026
The Firm won “M&A Deal of the Year: Premium” at the Asian Legal Business China Law Awards 2026, for its representation of the special committee of the board of directors of Zeekr in its US$6.8 billion going private transaction by Geely. The transaction is notable as the first Hong Kong-listed company to privatize a U.S.-listed company through a cash/stock election structure, marking a significant milestone in cross border M&A.
