A Partner in the Firm’s Houston office, Erland Modesto focuses on financing, credit and other corporate matters. Erland represents lenders and borrowers and has experience in a wide variety of debt financing and other general corporate matters. His clients have included JPMorgan, Barclays, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, First Reserve Corporation, KKR, Wells Fargo and Bank of Montreal.

Erland has represented clients in a variety of industries, including in the oil and gas exploration and production, midstream and oilfield services sectors. He has served as Senior Counsel in the legal department of Energy Transfer, which owns and operates one of the largest portfolios of energy assets in the United States, where he focused primarily on debt financing and other general corporate matters.

Recently ranked in Legal 500, Erland is described as “commercial, knowledgeable and creative…always eager to help find elegant solutions for clients.” He was also dubbed a “Rising Star” by Texas Lawyer earlier in his career.

Brian E. Rosenzweig - Partner Noted by Chambers as “commercial, collaborative and super responsive,” Brian Rosenzweig is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Based in the Houston office, Brian concentrates on capital markets financings, where he regularly advises on transactions in the energy, industrials, infrastructure, technology and utilities sectors, among others. Brian has guided transactions across the capital structure, including IPOs, high yield and investment grade debt, equity-linked securities, acquisition financings, restructurings, liability management transactions, and de-SPAC transactions. He also has extensive experience advising on disclosure matters, corporate governance, and deal structuring. Linda Tieh is a Partner in the Firm’s Private Funds Practice. Linda’s experience includes representing some of the largest and most prominent private fund sponsors, including Blackstone, Centerbridge, Hellman & Friedman, The Carlyle Group, MatlinPatterson Global Advisers and Palladium Equity Partners.
