Recognized for his corporate transactional work by IFLR1000, Shamus Crosby is a Partner based in Simpson Thacher’s Houston office. Shamus has significant experience advising sponsors and strategic investors in a broad range of corporate transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors, including oil and gas exploration and production and midstream, energy transition, renewables, power, utilities, telecommunications and digital infrastructure. Shamus counsels his private equity clients and their portfolio companies through the entire investment lifecycle, from initial investments and buyouts to structured capital raises and exit transactions. Shamus also represents public companies in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and strategic investments.

Shamus received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2009 and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Shamus is admitted to practice in Texas.
