Sandra Kister is Counsel in the Firm’s Hong Kong office. Sandra’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions transactions in Asia. She regularly advises private equity firms and corporate clients, including those in the fintech and technology sectors. Sandra has significant experience with cross-border M&A transactions.

Sandra’s representative experience has included:

From 2009-2010, Sandra completed a year-long Simpson Thacher public interest fellowship working as a Legal Fellow and China Advisor for Grameen Foundation USA’s branch office in Hong Kong. 

Sandra received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school, Sandra was a Summer Research Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Science Institute of Law. Her findings were published in the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law (45 Colum. J. Transnat’l L. 312) and were awarded an Outstanding Student Note Award. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale College in 2002.
