Uma Sud is Counsel in the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice. She advises leading private equity sponsors, companies and banks on finance transactions, with a particular focus on high-yield debt offerings in Europe. Uma has regularly represented KKR, Blackstone, TDR Capital and their portfolio companies as well as corporate issuers including Aston Martin, HSS Hire and Travelex, among others.

- KKR and United Group in multiple financing transactions, including United Group’s offering of €1.35 billion senior secured notes in connection with the financing of certain acquisitions and the refinancing of existing debt
- Blackstone and Alliance Automotive Group in multiple financing transactions, including Alliance Automotive Group’s offering of €180 million senior secured notes and €70 million senior secured notes in connection with the financing of certain acquisitions
- TDR Capital and Stonegate in multiple financing transactions, including Stonegate’s inaugural offering of £400 million senior secured notes and its refinancing of £595 million senior secured notes
- JPMorgan and other initial purchasers in an offering of $1.31 billion senior notes by Cablevision

Uma received her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) in 2005 from The W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences (India) and her LL.M. in 2006 from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York.
