In 2022, 2021 and 2017, Simpson was recognized by Yale Law Women in their YLW Top Firms Report. For the seventeenth year, the Annual Top Firms Report monitors trends in overall equity among law firms ranked in the Vault 100, raises awareness of disparities within the legal profession and recognizes law firms making progress in the industry.
In 2021, Simpson received the Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) for the tenth consecutive time in the United States and for the first time in the United Kingdom. Simpson is one of only four firms to have met both the U.S. and U.K. Gold Standard in 2021. WILEF grands Gold Standard certification to major law firms that meet objective criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, firm leadership positions and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners.
