Leah Malone Featured in ESG Journal for Sustainable Corporate Governance Q&A on Supply Chain Sustainability Issues
Leah Malone, Leader of Simpson Thacher’s Sustainability and ESG Practice, was featured in a Q&A in the ESG Journal for Sustainable Corporate Governance titled, “Supply Chain Sustainability Issues Will Continue to be Important and Present Novel Challenges for Companies.” In the Q&A, Leah explores the most relevant topics and developments in ESG in the U.S., as well as guidance for U.S. companies, the impact of European ESG initiatives on U.S. companies, the “Protect USA Act” and ESG topics that will remain top of mind in the near future. Leah noted that “effective boards of directors need to ensure that all relevant types of risk are subject to proper oversight and management.” She further explained that “supply chain sustainability issues will continue to be important and present novel challenges for companies conducting their businesses with an eye towards long-term resilience.”
