Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP today announced that Lawrence (“Larry”) Natke has joined the Firm’s New York office as a Partner in the Fund Transactions Practice, where he will focus on alternative asset management M&A transactions, including GP stakes, change of control transactions and other strategic transactions in the asset management industry.

Larry’s practice focuses on alternative asset management transactions, mergers and acquisitions and related transactions. He has deep experience advising on structuring control and non-control investments in alternative asset managers, GP stakes deals, joint ventures and spin-outs. He also represents private equity buyers and sellers in connection with investments in the financial services sector.
