Simpson Thacher Ranked First in Q3 and YTD 2025 in Infrastructure and Data Center Transactions Per Infralogic
Simpson Thacher was recognized as the leading legal advisor by deal value for all infrastructure transactions globally and data center transactions globally during the third quarter of 2025 and year-to-date, having advised on over $136 billion worth of transactions so far this year, according to data from Infralogic. In addition, the Firm also ranked first by deal value for telecommunications transactions globally and transportation M&A globally during the same time period.
During this time frame, the Firm advised on numerous high-profile, multi-billion transactions in sectors such as data centers, fiber, towers, telecommunications, energy, power, energy transition, transportation, logistics and infrastructure, among many others:
- DigitalBridge’s joint venture with La Caisse to acquire Yondr;

- Brookfield’s investment in 5C Group;
- Stonepeak in its acquisition of interest in Generia Land, S.L., a land platform dedicated to renewables;
- AirTrunk in an A$16 billion sustainability-linked refinancing of greenfield and operational assets across Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore;
- Prime Data Centers on a strategic equity investment by Snowhawk and Nuveen;
- Arjun’s investment in Data 4’s stabilized data center portfolio;
- Infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives in its acquisition of Liquid Environmental Solutions from Audax Private Equity; and
- Vantage Data Centers’ acquisition of Yondr’s 300 MW+ hyperscale data center campus in Johor, Malaysia.
