New York State Attorney General Proposes Adding Certain Sarbanes-Oxley Provisions To New York Not-For-Profit Corporation Law
The New York State Attorney General has proposed amendments to the New York Not-for-Profit Corporation Law that would apply certain provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act to not-for-profit corporations incorporated in or doing business in New York. Members of the Firm's Exempt Organizations group address the proposal in this memorandum.
