Thomas Cheeseman is Counsel in Simpson Thacher’s Registered Funds Practice. Based in the Boston office, he advises a broad range of registered funds, business development companies, alternative asset managers, corporate credit managers, investment management firms and other financial services companies on a wide array of corporate transactions. His practice includes advising clients on the formation, structuring and operations of funds as well as on related capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings. Thomas also advises issuers and investment banks in public and private securities transactions, corporate governance and securities law compliance matters, SEC disclosure filings and the preparation of annual and quarterly reports and proxy statements.
