Patrick Baron is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Patrick’s practice is focused on domestic and international corporate finance transactions. He has represented both investment banks and issuers in high yield financings, investment grade financings, debt restructurings, liability management transactions, initial public offerings and other capital markets transactions. His practice spans a broad range of industries, including industrials, automotive, mining, infrastructure, aerospace & defense, media and telecommunications, leisure and healthcare. Patrick also regularly advises clients with respect to securities laws and general corporate matters.

Patrick joined Simpson Thacher in 2001. He received his J.D. from the University of Cologne School of Law in Germany in 1997 and his LL.M. from Cornell Law School in 2001. Patrick is admitted to practice in New York and Germany.
