Simpson Thacher represented The Blackstone Group L.P. in the establishment of Blackstone Credit Liquidity Partners L.P. The fund, with $1.3 billion in equity capital commitments, will seek to take advantage of dislocations in the credit market by investing in a broad range of debt and debt related securities and instruments on a global basis using a wide variety of investment types and transactions structures.
