Simpson Thacher Represents JPMorgan in the Renegotiation of Bridge Loan to Independencia
The Firm represented JPMorgan in the renegotiation of its $100 million bridge loan to Independencia Participacoes S.A. in connection with an equity contribution to the company by the Brazilian federal development bank (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social - BNDES).
Independencia Participacoes S.A. wholly-owns Independencia S.A., a leading Brazilian company engaged in the processing, sale and global export of fresh and frozen beef products and by-products, including leather.
