Simpson Thacher Represents Special Committee of Board of Directors of Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. in connection with Proposed Going-Private Transaction
The Firm is representing the special committee of the board of directors of Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. (“OdysseyRe”) (NYSE: ORH) in connection with the publicly-announced proposal from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (“Fairfax”) to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of OdysseyRe that Fairfax does not currently own for $60 per share in cash. Fairfax currently owns approximately 72.6% of all outstanding shares of common stock of OdysseyRe.
