The Firm represented FBR Capital Markets & Co. as the initial purchaser and placement agent in a Rule 144A/Regulation S/Regulation D offering of common stock by C&J Energy Services, Inc. (“C&J”), resulting in gross proceeds to C&J of $282.6 million. The proceeds from the sale of the shares were used to repurchase shares of common stock from existing shareholders.
C&J is a rapidly growing energy service company with a focus on hydraulic fracturing of new and existing wells throughout unconventional resource plays in South Texas, East Texas/North Louisiana, and Western Oklahoma, as well as in conventional basins in these regions.
