Simpson Thacher Represents Metalmark Capital Partners in Spin-off from Citigroup
The Firm represented Metalmark Capital Partners, a private equity firm, in connection with Citigroup's divestiture of Metalmark. The transaction closed on December 16, 2013. Citigroup will retain limited partnership interests in a fund operated by Metalmark following the closing of the transaction but will no longer be a Metalmark affiliate.
Metalmark Capital is a leading private equity firm with particular focus and competence in energy/natural resources, industrials and healthcare.
