Shamus Crosby Quoted on Trends in the Billion-Dollar Deal Landscape
Partner Shamus Crosby was quoted in The Texas Lawbook and The Dallas Morning News in articles discussing several billion-dollar transactions that shaped the Texas M&A landscape in the first half of 2025 and where the market stands now. In his assessment of the current M&A environment, Shamus noted that infrastructure continues as a leading asset class for private equity and explained that “larger infrastructure transactions, which typically involve long lead-time projects with significant capital requirements, have generally stayed the course.” Looking ahead, he predicted that “large LNG, data centers and utilities transactions are hot right now and I think they will continue to be for the foreseeable future.”
