Simpson Thacher Represents Arrangers in $1.15 Billion Upsize of Weatherford’s Revolving Credit Facility

Simpson Thacher represented Wells Fargo, N.A. and other arrangers in connection with the tenth amendment of Weatherford International plc’s credit agreement (the “Amendment”). The Amendment increased the senior secured revolving credit facility up to $1.15 billion and extended the maturity date out to 2030.

Weatherford is one of the largest multinational oilfield service companies, with facilities across 90 countries. The firm operates a worldwide network of infrastructure, research and development facilities and manufacturing centers, offering a diverse technological portfolio and a high-caliber workforce to the global markets.
